Sitting here at R&A 2010, it is great to see a lot of attendees and a fantastic venue. For the first time we are next door to the Magic Kingdom, inside Disney World, with a monorail system running through the hotel. So far, one of the best events ever!!! The rooms are large and the temp of 81F (27C) is awsome.. What better way to kick off R&A. (really, I don't get paid for saying this :-)
This morning there are jumpstarts 3 hours sessions on in-depth topics, and tomorrow the 'real' conference start. The exhibitors are the usual suspects, but also about a dozen new companies so it the event must be growing, depsite also being offered in Barcelona next month.
Today I will be speaking on SAP dashboards, and in a three hour session show 15 demos on Visual Composer, Web Application Designer and Xcelsius (I know the name has changed, but I like the old one better :-0). The focus this morning is definately on BOBJ solution and I hear everyone here is taling about when BEx will "die" and the next generation is ready for prime-time.
This is going to be an interesting conference with a mix of Project managers (the PM 2010 conference is also here), and propeller-heads like myself..
Stay tuned for more updates from the floor.
